A new PATROLL contest, with a $2,000 cash prize, was added seeking prior art on at least claim 8 of U.S. Patent 10,157,414, owned by Tiare Technology, Inc., an NPE. The ‘414 patent generally relates to using a wireless patron unit for providing services to patrons at resorts, stadiums, arenas, and other venues. The patent has been asserted over 20 times against companies like Applebees, Albertsons, Kroger, Sonic, and Best Buy.
